Completing the Medicare 855B Form

Medicare may require your center to file a new form 855B in the near future. New regulations require the 855 to be updated every five years, completed with all required documentation. In fact, it’s possible that your surgery center has never completed an 855B, and that you will now be required to submit this documentation.

Completing this form can be complex, time-consuming and quite frankly frustrating, especially if you have never completed one of these forms. Following the paperwork through the system can be overwhelming, especially when you don’t know the right people to contact. Ortmann Healthcare Consultants can take care of this task for you. Our specialists have extensive experience with the ins and outs of this form as well as the “unwritten” expectations you may encounter. We can assist you in preparing the documentation you will need as well as “walking” the paperwork through the system.

In addition to submitting a new 855B, Medicare may require your facility to be re-surveyed for certification. Our experts work with these surveys around the country and are ready to prepare you and your facility for any inspections that might be required.

Don’t sweat these complicated forms and all the paperwork. Give us a call today, and we’ll get it done for you.
